Road closures will be in place on Saturday 7 June 2025 for the Merriwa Festival of the Fleeces. The Golden Highway will be closed between Dutton St and Marquet St from 5am to 5pm. Motorists travelling through Merriwa over the long weekend should allow extra travel time and expect delays.

Motorists will be detoured around the highway closure via Marquet and Blaxland Street.
